As a new student or resident parishioner, you have joined more than 1,000 families and 3,000 students who call St. Tom’s their faith community. Just like the opportunities that come from affiliation with a large campus like Purdue, St .Tom’s affords you with many ways to grow your relationship with Jesus Christ and become connected to this vibrant faith community. But those many opportunities can be hard to navigate, so we have created a new (and evolving) program to help our new parishioners get to know St. Tom’s. Through this welcome program, we hope you quickly become acquainted with us and begin to feel a sense of belonging!
The St. Tom's website has a web page tailored for new student parishioners and one for new resident parishioners. These pages provide information about how to register, receive St. Tom's communications, and get involved with ministries. Click the buttons below:

If you are unable to find the information that you need or would prefer to speak with someone, please contact us at the Parish Office, (765) 743-4652 or [email protected]. The Parish Office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Every two months, our St. Tom's Ambassador Team hosts a reception for new parishioners to the church. The reception offers a chance to meet the priests and staff of St. Tom's and other new parishioners. Attendees learn more about the parish and the many programs and ministries to support their faith. A tour of the building is also offered. Babysitting is available for families (with snacks for the children), and heavy appetizers are served during the reception . If you are interested in attending the next reception, please email Georgana Finn.
We can't wait to meet you!
To learn more about St. Tom's and meet fellow parishioners, new parishioners are paired up with a current parishioner following the Welcome Reception. There are many current parishioners lined up and anxious to welcome our newest members! For questions, email [email protected].
