Below are some new and continuing faith formation opportunities available to all St. Tom’s parishioners this spring 2021. We hope that you can join us for one (or more)!

“Faith & Money Matters” bible study – February to March
St. Tom’s is offering a virtual “Faith & Money Matters” bible study this spring. This 6-week study will help you increase savings, reduce personal debt, grow closer to God, and strengthen personal relationships, but, most importantly, it will help you learn the spiritual impacts of how you use money and possessions. An informational session will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 6:00 p.m. Dcn. Dan Finn will facilitate the program run remotely through Zoom from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. beginning February 2. Contact John Strong at john@boilercatholics.org with questions and to sign-up.

Hebrews: The New & Eternal Covenant – February to April
Join us for an 8-week course in the Great Bible Adventure’s Book of Hebrews: The New & Eternal Covenant. The course will be offered on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. starting February 15 via Zoom. Please contact John Strong, john@boilercatholics.org to register or for more information.

Morning Prayer – January to May
From ancient times, the Church has had the custom of celebrating each day with the Liturgy of the Hours. The laity, too, is encouraged to recite the divine office either with the priests, among themselves or individually. The Hours include Morning Prayer, Daytime Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Night Prayer. Dcn. Dan Finn and his wife Georgana invite you to join them via Zoom for Morning Prayer at 7:30 a.m. on Mondays to Fridays beginning January 4. Download the free “eBreviary pro Terra Sancta” app to follow along. The prayers take about 20 minutes and are a great way to start your day with fellow believers. To join Morning Prayer, follow the Zoom link from the St. Tom’s calendar. For questions or more information, contact Dcn. Dan, dcn.dfinn@dol-in.org.
