St. Tom’s welcomes former “church mouse” Sam Hostetler as its new Operations Coordinator as of March 14, 2022. Raised in Indianapolis, Sam graduated from St. Malachy School and Brownsburg High School before continuing his collegiate studies at Purdue University.
At Purdue, Sam completed three degrees in Aviation Management, Airport Management & Operations, and Spanish. After commencement, he worked in Centennial Airport’s Operations and Planning departments in Englewood, CO. His favorite memories from living in Denver include hiking a fourteener (mountain reaching over 14,000’ in elevation), skiing the slopes of Breckenridge, and camping with friends in Buena Vista.
In his free time, Sam likes to hike and play sports, which include but are not limited to ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and soccer. He and his fiancée enjoy reading and spending time with their friends and family. They cannot wait to continue preparing for marriage before celebrating that Sacrament.
Sam is very grateful for the warm welcome back to West Lafayette and the St. Tom’s community. He is excited to bring his passion for service and community building into his operations-based and logistics-oriented role.
