Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Ryan came to Purdue University in the fall of 2018 already with a connection to St. Tom’s—his parents are both Purdue graduates, attended St. Tom’s while on campus, and married here! Ryan graduated from Purdue University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a minor in foods and nutrition, but his involvement at St. Tom’s during his time at Purdue led him to change course and earn a master’s degree in theology, concentrating in evangelization and catechesis, from Christendom College. Formerly a liturgy Intern at St. Tom's and working part-time for St. Boniface & St. Lawrence Pastorate in Lafayette, Ryan followed the call to serve the St. Tom’s community full-time as coordinator of evangelization. Ryan enjoys hiking, climbing, lifting weights, and drinking coffee. He frequently makes trips to Ohio to see his family and watch his brother (a senior at Ohio Wesleyan University) play lacrosse.
