Major: Developmental and Family Science
How I got involved at St. Toms: Second semester of my freshman year I knew I wanted to be involved at St. Tom’s but I had no idea how to do this. I went to Grant Freeman and asked him what to do. He told me about Ignite and about one group in particular he thought would be a good fit for me. A couple hours later I got a text from the leader of that group inviting me to join them and that got the ball rolling. The lovely people at St. Tom’s haven’t been able to get rid of me since.
Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 12:12 “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer.”
Fun Fact: I was baptized with Grace Anne.
Bio: I was born and raised in Lafayette. I come from the kind of home that is never quiet. Ever. Across the river, in a cute little house, lives my wonderful parents, grandpa, my three younger sisters, two dogs, and a cat (whose name is Herman but is actually a girl). My family is such a big part of who I am, they are the people who rooted me in Catholicism. Growing up, I loved long distance running, drawing & painting, and showing my cows at the fair. If you’re ever looking for me, I’ll be in the basement of St. Tom’s probably napping.
