Major: Actuarial Science and Spanish
How you get involved at St. Tom’s: My involvement at St. Tom’s started before I was a Purdue student. I was not raised Catholic, but one of my best friends started taking me to Mass at St. Tom’s when I was 17, and the rest is history. I heard about Boiler Awakening when I was still in high school, so I knew that I was going to apply once I was a Purdue student. I attended BA 17 as a retreatant, and I have been staffing BA ever since. I am so thankful to be a part of the St. Tom’s community.
Favorite Bible Verse: Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and steadfast; have no fear or dread of them, for it is the Lord, your God, who marches with you; he will never fail you or forsake you.”
Bio: I am from West Lafayette, Indiana, so I have grown up with Purdue down the road for most of my life. I love music (both listening to it and singing), and I have been a “choir kid” since middle school. I am also passionate about Spanish, and I had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid for 6 weeks during Summer 2019 (which is where this photo was taken). I also enjoy spending my free time with my friends and family and building relationships. I am so excited to be the Rector for BA 23, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the retreat.
