How I got involved at St. Tom's:
I was very excited to get involved with St. Tom’s and Boiler Catholics before coming to Purdue. One thing I looked for in a College was a good Catholic community. I joined the flocknote and heard about everything happening at St. Tom’s. I remember getting a notification on my phone for the Boiler Catholic Women callout meeting, so I decided to check it out. I signed up for the New Student Overnighter beforehand but wanted to meet some people before the retreat. I enjoyed meeting all the young women at St. Tom’s and immediately felt at home. It was nice to walk into NSO and see some familiar faces. Boiler Catholic Women and NSO helped me feel comfortable here at St. Tom’s and Purdue, and I could not be more thankful for that. I eventually joined an ignite group and found my family here at Purdue.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Do not fear; I am with you; do not be anxious: I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand” - Isaiah 41:10
Bio: I grew up in Valparaiso, IN, with my brother and 3 sisters. My family is very important to me, and I am so blessed to have them in my life. I love doing various grandma crafts and light hiking when I get the chance. I’ve been involved with Boiler Catholics since my freshman year, and I’m so excited to serve this community! I also work at the front desk of Honors, so if you’re ever over there, feel free to swing by and say hi!
Office Hours: My office hours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the Boiler Catholics office. So come on down if you have any questions or just want to sit and chat!
