How I got involved at St. Tom’s: My first week of Freshman year, I decided to hang around St. Tom’s until I heard about what was happening within the BoilerCatholics community. I ended up meeting a lot of people at Wednesday Night Mass and Sunday Night Dinner, who encouraged me to try a few ministries. I have since been involved in many different ministries and continue to consider St. Tom’s a second home on campus.
Favorite Bible Verse: “Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the Lord is your strength!” Nehemiah 8:10
Fun Fact: I’ve never purchased a haircut, and have given several for free (100% satisfaction rate!)
Bio: I grew up in a small town in the Southeast corner of Indiana, where I first learned about the importance of faith and a good community through my family’s incredible example. I grew up loving sports, music and spontaneous adventures and can still be found enjoying one of these three hobbies during most of my free time. I’m incredibly extroverted (most of the time) and am always interested in learning new things about the world around me and the people in it, which is probably why I am so intrigued by science. Most importantly, I am a Catholic in love with Christ, with a desire to share the joy and peace of the gospel with the world.
