How did you get involved at St. Tom’s?: I started hanging around St. Tom’s right away freshman year – going to daily Mass and doing homework in the basement, mostly. I quickly realized that I was surrounded by excellent men and women at St. Tom’s, and wanted to make friends with them. For that reason, I went to all the student events that I could, like SND and Wednesday night Mass. Making a habit of frequently going to Mass put me on the Liturgy Interns’ radar, which is why I now have the pleasure of being an Intern myself!
Favorite Bible Verse: And Peter making answer, said: Lord, if it be thou, bid me come to thee upon the waters. And he said: Come. And Peter going down out of the boat, walked upon the water to come to Jesus. (Matthew 14:28-29)
Bio: I hail from the crown of the Midwest: Columbus, OH. My family is composed of my wonderful parents, my brother, myself, and my two sisters. I also have a beautiful goddaughter! I love to make things; whether it be rolling out pasta, building a garden, baking cookies, or woodburning icons. I also love to read and learn – I think that Flannery O’Connor will forever occupy a spot as one of my favorite writers. And even though I love to learn (which involves listening), I really do love to talk, too…especially about the Liturgy.
