As the staff liaison for the St. Tom’s Formation Leadership Team, I am happy to present some initiatives we will be promoting this coming Fall. These initiatives result from the feedback we received from the Parish and from the guidance of the Formation Leadership Team. The initiatives are the Sycamore program, more vibrant Bible study offerings, and a social justice presentation series.
Over the last six months, the Development Team has been working together to brainstorm ways to enhance a stronger culture and understanding of stewardship among Resident and Student Parishioners. We have created a strategic plan and calendar for development within our community, executed a very successful Day of Giving, crafted a stronger thank you and stewardship process for donors, and are working toward encouraging student giving. St. Tom’s plan for HOW we grow as a faith community over the next three years is being guided by six Pastorate Planning Teams (PPT).
