  • Would you like to offer Mass for a special intention? Our priests, staff, and parishioners would be honored to pray for your intentions, including remembrance of loved ones who are deceased or ill, or in thanksgiving for a prayer answered, or even in honor of a special birthday or anniversary. • Our Welcome Weekend is in full swing! Staff are serving as greeters at all Masses this weekend and are happy to answer any and all questions that you may have about St. Tom’s. Be sure to join us AFTER the 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM Masses for our Ministry Fair and Ice Cream Social. Ministry leaders and members will share information and show you how to get involved. And the Boiler Catholics Ambassadors are providing tours of St. Tom’s this weekend. Meet them in the east parking lot after Mass. Finally, Sunday Night Dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. Just $3 per person. Line up on the east and south side of the church for grilled burgers and hot dogs to be served from the lower patio area. We will eat on the east side lawn.
  • Theology on Tap returns this Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.! Fr. Chris will share the five ‘must read’ books for all Catholics. Due to COVID safe space requirements, the event will take place in Newman Hall with soda, water, and snacks provided. Register to attend online.

  • Our next Family Promise week is September 7th to 13th. For those unfamiliar with this ministry, St. Tom’s partners with 11 area congregations to help homeless families. We will provide meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but no in-person volunteering will occur. Donations of “gift packages” for the families are also needed as they transition to their new homes. To learn more and sign up to volunteer, visit the Family Promise page.
