Hunger Hike: Our Church's Care For Those In Need
Sunday, September 22, will mark 32 years of the Greater Lafayette community coming together to celebrate Hunger Hike. This year's event finds us amid a global food crisis, and we need your help more than ever!
While food costs in the U.S. have increased quite a bit, things are even worse in Haiti, where 45 percent of the population faces a severe food crisis. But St Tom's is there, providing food, medical care, and high-yield seeds to the people of Baudin. Earlier this year, we provided about 6,500lbs of food to our Baudin community, along with a new strain of bean seeds that are now on their second planting and doing better than the common bean used by the area’s farmers.
Let’s rally everyone, residents and students alike, to meet or exceed last year's $42,,000 goal.
Join the St. Tom’s team as a fundraising hiker by visiting the LUM's Hunger Hike page HERE.
Then reach out to friends, family, and other loved ones asking them to donate to support your efforts.
If you can't jump on board as a fundraising hiker, please help St. Tom's team with its $42,000 fundraising goal HERE.

Jesus said, "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat."
We hope you will support our efforts to feed Jesus, present in our poor brothers and sisters.
God bless you for your generosity.
