We are a national organization active in 41 states, using the services of more than 160,000 volunteers and 6,000 congregations to help homeless families get back on their feet by providing overnight lodging, meals, hospitality, and job placement services.

St. Tom’s joins 11 other host congregations and 5 support churches to help families in our local area.

Signup to Volunteer


  • Attend one of the free training sessions offered throughout the year
  • Complete the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana Safe Environment Training every three years.
  • Once trained, sign up to volunteer for any of the following:
    • Greeter (1 hour)
    • Provide dinner (1 hour)
    • Evening company (2 hours)
    • Overnight host (8:45pm – 7am)
    • Sunday Day Center (2 hours)
