Family Promise Week

St. Tom's is among a group of community churches supporting Family Promise of Greater Lafayette with its mission of equipping families and communities to end the cycle of homelessness.  St. Tom's FP ministry provides meals and companionship for the homeless families staying at the FP facility during four weeks each year. The dates for 2024 are scheduled for March 18 to 22, May 13 to 17, October 14 to 18, and December 2 to 6.  

All trained volunteers receive a SignUp Genius link ahead of each volunteer week. Anyone not trained who wants to volunteer, visit St. Tom's Family Promise page and follow the links for required FP and Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana online training. FP online training is accompanied by an “on-site” visit with Amanda Hudson, executive director of the Family Promise Center.
