St. Tom's continues its tradition of joining with the Greater Lafayette Area Jubilee Christmas Event through Lafayette Urban Ministry. The event gives less fortunate families the opportunity to select new toys and new clothing for their children. The St. Tom's Jubilee Christmas Volunteers will assist parents in choosing gifts for their children on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to Noon. This year, we will host 25 families. Join us Monday, Dec. 11, for "An Advent Meditation: Blessed Fulfillment" by Sr. Joseph Andrew Bogdanowicz, OP, Dominican Sr. of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. The evening includes a simple supper after 5:30 p.m. Mass in Newman Hall and two Advent Reflections with a small group discussion at your table after each one. We will end by 8:30 p.m. with concluding remarks and prayer by Sr. Andrew.

The Hispanic Catholics group meets on Fridays at 4:30 p.m. for their Ignite (or Bible study) in Room 3, followed by the Spanish Mass at 5:30 p.m. in the Church. If you are interested, meet our Hispanic community a little before 4:30 p.m. at the gathering space this and all Fridays during the semester. Even if you are not Hispanic, this is a great opportunity for you to practice your Spanish!
St. Tom's will celebrate the December 2021 graduation of our Boiler Catholic students during Vigil Mass on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. All undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend in their regalia and invite family and friends to join them. Cake and punch will be served in the Gather Space after Mass.
