Join in community prayer this Lenten season by attending Stations of the Cross offered Fridays beginning March 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church.

First Saturday Marian Devotion together. This beautiful devotion allows us to take part in defining aspects of being Catholic, all with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the basement of the church (Room 3) and end at 11:30 a.m. Daily Mass. Anyone is welcome to join us for this devotion (resident or student parishioners).

This weekend is the first Sunday of the month when we collect items for the campus food pantry. Items can be placed in the southeast corner of the sanctuary. The second collection will benefit our Mother Teresa Fund, assisting community members in need of rent and utility assistance.

Both men and women are welcome to Spiritual Restorative Yoga this semester (January 6, February 10, March 10, April 7, and May 5) in Room 3 from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. This class is prayer with core strengthening, stretching, and functional movements to nourish your body and soul. The Racial Equality and Justice Ministry seeks to respond as a faith community to racial inequality and injustice in our American culture by studying racial issues, sharing what we have learned with other parishioners, working to eliminate bias, prejudice, discrimination, and hatred within ourselves, our pastorate and our community, increasing our compassion for others, and advocating for cultural and intellectual diversity in our pastorate and intentionally making St. Tom’s a comfortable and loving place for each and every one of God’s children. Join a weekly Lenten Scripture Study of the Book of Galatians, which will meet on Tuesdays, March 11 to April 15, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 3. Led by James McLean, director of evangelization, the group will study Galatians, which is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to Christian communities in the region of Galatia, fiercely defending the idea that salvation comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ, not by following the works of the Mosaic Law, and strongly criticizing those who were trying to undermine this message by advocating for circumcision and adherence to Jewish law for Gentile converts.
